My house is a Bauhaus
A small tribute to typeface Bauhaus.
Staatliches Bauhaus, commonly known simply as Bauhaus, was a German art school operational from 1919 to 1933 that combined crafts and the fine arts, and was famous for the approach to design that it publicised and taught.
The Bauhaus typeface design is based on Herbert Bayer's 1925 experimental Universal typeface.
ITC Bauhaus was designed by Ed Benguiat and Victor Caruso in 1975.
Inheriting the simple geometric shapes and monotone stroke weights of Herbert Bayer's universal, it includes separate upper and lower case characters.
