Unisex in logo and concept
The clothing brand Mongo Wongo makes casual unisex streetwear, targeting both sexes aged 12-25 years.
I had previously done some work for the company behind, in connection with another brand in their collection,
so when they needed a logo and concept for their new brand, they asked me to assist.
I wanted to design an expression that in turn could express both sexes, a bit like ying and yang.
I designed this logo, which is a fusion of the two leading characters that provide a playful harmonic form.
It worked fine as a logo for a unisex clothing brand, and an easily recognizable expression that could brand Mongo Wongo.
