Technical simplicity

When the small American tool company Harvey & Sons developed the Droptool concept, they addressed me with a request to design a logo.

The logo should have a certain weight and substance to it, in order to speak to the men, whom the Droptool concept aimed at.
Similarly, the logo should be in line with American design style, that is not too Scandinavian or European in the expression.

I designed this logo, where the name is set with capital in a bold type. The graphic element is a technical "D", partly shaped like a nut, and with the hole shaped like a drop.
The graphic element follows the name, but can also be used alone to brand Droptool.

Business card and stationary

With basis in the logo, I designed business cards and stationary for Droptool.

The use of logo, colors and graphic elements are weighed closely with each media, to create an appropriate visual relation.

The layout of the different media primarily takes into account the nature and function of the media, so that it can perform its task without drowning in a graphical abundance.
