Helvetica Grunge

Helvetica, again again

This typographic poster presents typeface Helvetica in a grunge-like design.

Helvetica is a sans-serif typeface, designed in 1956 by Max Miedinger and launched by Haas in 1957, originally called Neue Haas Grotesk.

It is the most used typeface in logo design, and among others is used in logos for Microsoft, 3M, Panasonic, Skype, Blaupunkt, Harley Davidson, Oral-B, Nestlé, Lufthansa, The North Face, Toyota, BMW, Sears, Tupperware, Caterpillar, Evian, Energizer, BASF, Olympus, Kawasaki og Motorola.

I have often used Helvetica in logo designs, among others in the logos for Roth Architects og Nordahl.
